Always turn them off when leaving the room or going to bed. - Fireplaces: Have your chimney inspected and cleaned annually to prevent creosote buildup. Use a sturdy screen to keep sparks contained. - Carbon Monoxide Detectors: Install detectors on every level of your home and test them monthly. - Furnace Maintenance: Schedule annual inspections to ensure safe operation.
